Review: The Gorge Eatery

Happy Sunday, folks! Since my mom doesn't work on Sundays anymore, we decided to go to Sunday brunch, which we have rarely been able to do. One of our friends recommended The Gorge, and we just had to try it.      As an appetizer, we ordered the Brussel sprouts to share. They were crispy and sweet like honey but also had a nice spice from the chili sauce. The candied walnuts were crunchy and added to the overall experience.            I ordered the chicken & biscuits, and I did not regret it. It came with two biscuits, each with a piece of chicken and some buttermilk gravy. The chicken was moist, a little sweet, and had light breading, causing it not to be greasy. The gravy was smooth and super light. Last but not least, the biscuits were incredible! They were flaky and buttery and just melted in your mouth. They could even be the best biscuits I have ever had. I would definitely order the Chicken & Biscuits again.
